Exchange students: Erasmus+ and other
Erasmus+ is the EU programme for Education, Training, Youth and Sport.
Among other things, Erasmus+ aims to promote international student mobility by offering scholarships for study and traineeships.
If your home institution has an Erasmus+ Inter Institutional Agreement with our university or another Exchange Agreement, you can join us as an exchange student.
If you are not sure if your institution has an Agreement with our university, please contact internationaloffice@che.nl, or ask your own institution’s Erasmus+ office.
Exchange students do not have to pay a tuition fee at our university.
Your home institution can tell you if you are eligible for an Erasmus+ scholarship. For more information, visit the website of the European Commission.
Please note that, before you can apply, your home institution needs to nominate you as an Exchange student (Erasmus+ and other) to our university.
In order to do this, your home institution can send an email to our international office.
After you are nominated and accepted (we will inform you by email), please fill out the application form.
If you are an Exchange student (Erasmus+ and other) from within Europe, your home institution will inform you about Erasmus+ procedures.
If you are an Erasmus+ student from outside Europe, CHE’s international office will contact you by email about Erasmus+ procedures, after your application is accepted.
The CHE has signed the Erasmus Charter for Higher Education, which states the rights of Erasmus+ students.

The application deadline for Erasmus+ students is May 1st.

It is also possible to join our international programmes if you are not an Erasmus+ student or someone with a scholarship. It is possible to pay for the course yourself, and join us for one or two consecutive courses. For tuition fees, see the information for the programmes.
